WWE’s Money In The Bank will be taking place this Sunday at 8. Here are my predictions for the matches that have been announced so far.

WWE Unified Tag Team Championship Match (Pre-Show) Kofi Kingston & R-Truth (C) vs. Hunico & Camacho

Prediction: Truth and Kofi Win

This could end up being a great match worthy of being on the main card. Both teams can put on a good match, and hopefully we see a better match then we have on the previous pre-shows. In the end, I see Kofi and Truth winning, and finally leading to a match with the Primetime Players.

World Heavyweight Championship Money In The Bank Ladder Match – Tensai vs. Sin Cara vs. Dolph Ziggler vs. Cody Rhodes vs. Santino Marella vs. Christian vs. Tyson Kidd vs. Damien Sandow

 Prediction: Dolph Ziggler Wins

This will be the better of the two ‘MITB’ matches on the night. With the exception of Tensai, every competitor has some high flying ability that we all love to see in ladder matches. You could almost guarantee that Christian and Santino will not win because they both hold titles at the moment.  Tyson Kidd is getting a nice push, and I hope to see more of him in the future, but I don’t see him being World Champ just yet. Damien Sandow is in the same position as Kidd right now, great for them to get big pushes, as they will help carry the company in the future, but too soon for them to be in the World Title hunt. Sin Cara was a last minute entrant, and while he has the best high flying ability in the match, I just don’t think it is his time. It really comes down to Ziggler and Rhodes, who does the WWE want to push more at the moment? Rhodes was in the Intercontinental Championship picture for a very long time, and it would be great to see him as the World Champ. We just saw Ziggler get a World Title match, and it was a spectacular one with Sheamus at No Way Out. I will pick Ziggler only because I would rather see another Ziggler vs. Sheamus match. I will not be surprised at all if Rhodes is to win.

WWE Championship Money In The Bank Ladder Match – John Cena vs. Chris Jericho vs. Kane vs. Big Show

 Prediction: John Cena Wins

I thought it was interesting that they only went with 4 superstars for this ‘MITB’ match instead of 8 like in the World Title match. What this comes down to is what WWE Title match would look better?  To me, that match would be John Cena vs. CM Punk at Summerslam. The same two that put on a great match at last year’s Money In The Bank PPV. Now, we could see Big Show end up winning, and carry on this destructive giant phase for him, but having him in a match with CM Punk or even Daniel Bryan again would not be appealing. Jericho already had his shot at back to back PPV’s, and we just saw Kane in the WWE title match at No Way Out. That leaves Cena, and for the WWE’s biggest name in the company to win his first ‘MITB’ match, and set up another rivalry with Punk would be great.

World Heavyweight Championship Match – Sheamus (C) vs. Alberto Del Rio

 Prediction: Sheamus Wins

The match that was supposed to happen at No Way Out will finally happen this Sunday.  With the way that Del Rio has been used over the last few weeks you really get the impression that he could end up beating Sheamus and win the title. Both Sheamus and Del Rio are capable of putting on a great match, and that should be the case on Sunday. I could see a situation developing where Sheamus wins, and Dolph Ziggler comes out and cashes in his ‘MITB’ contract and wins the title immediately after the match. That would be the start of a much longer feud with Sheamus, and Ziggler.

WWE Championship Match – CM Punk (C) vs. Daniel Bryan (Special guest Ref – AJ)

Prediction:  CM Punk Wins

This match has had some of the best build up in a long time, with AJ playing a major role in this whole Punk vs. Bryan rivalry since Over the Limit. This time AJ will be the special guest referee, and we can all only hope that it doesn’t mean we get a bad ending to what should be another great match. I do see Punk winning, hopefully without any help from AJ, unless we are to see Punk vs. Bryan for a 3rd time.

There are sure to be some filler matches, like a Ryback squash match, and the same for Brodus Clay. Maybe we will see another legend return to beat up on Heath Slater some more. We should get a pretty solid PPV if the matches go as well as they should.
